Thinking, Knowing, Looking is a collaborative work by B. Thom Stevenson and Logan Wayne White. This work was curated by Joe Horner for a group show in Brooklyn, NY in which several painters were invited to create a chair and a painting. Each artist went about either making or presenting these chairs in different facets. B. Thom elected to involve White into creating his chair to house 3 of his paintings. The form acts as a frame while also providing the shape and familiarity of a chairs seat, legs and backrest, but in a new dimensional context. This work engages the viewer to walk around the chair, finding a new painting from each viewpoint allowing them to think, know and look.
