The work’s surface reveals traces of its construction—drips, seams, and embedded history—emphasizing process and material transformation. The title refers to the dual nature of the piece: a form that holds light and shadow simultaneously. Like a cave illuminated by the sun, the chair functions as both shelter and vessel, merging dark solidity with warm radiance.
